Ferret: An adoptable ferret in Frederick, MD in Frederick, Maryland For Sale

Fred, an approx 3 year old male (sable), and Stewart, an approx 1.5 year old male (white), were relinquished to Frederick County Animal Control in June xxxx. Their original owner was working two jobs and did not have time to care for his ferrets. Once in foster care, they started getting lots of exercise time, and although originally quite nippy, both have greatly improved. Freds nipping days are long gone, but until recently Stewart was still nipping. Finally, in March of xxxx it was discovered that Stewart is deaf. No wonder Stewart was still nipping! He could not hear his foster family approaching to play and was startled every time. Since that discovery, we now know better how to handle him and he is turning into a wonderful affectionate little guy. Both boys are very happy and playful ferrets.
