Job Requisition Number: xxxx90Category: Marketing - AnalystPrimary Location: Fort Detrick, MD, USSecurity Clearance: NACIClearance Status: Must be ObtainableSchedule: Full TimeType of Travel: NonePercent of Travel Required: NoneDescription:Seeking a Configuration / Release Manager for an SAP based medical logistics system for the Department of Defense.The CM/Release Manager shall provide configuration management and release management necessary to manage a SAP based medical logistics system running an agile sustainment and software development life cycle.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide support of Configuration Management processes using the SAP tool Solution Manager. All system changes and enhancements are recorded, approved, tracked, and implemented utilizing SAP Solution Manager Change Request Management (ChaRM). Timely/proactive communication is required to ensure high workforce productivity.RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct CM on all software and documentation in accordance with the program CM plan and overarching CM policies and procedures. Configuration Management documentation and actions will be captured and maintained using the Government-provided Solution Manager software as the primary software management tool.Ensure all necessary Configuration Management Documentation to include but not limited to Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), functional and technical specifications, test scripts, test results, code reviews, Production Insertion Requests, and transports are attached to corrections as required.Conduct meeting concerning work to be performed as part of the monthly maintenance cycles; creation of Release Notes and Production Insertion Requests (PIR); movement of approved system updates to the production environment.Required Qualifications:A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Management or other related scientific or technical discipline is required.Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Configuration Management and/or Release Management.Must have SAP experience.Must have A+, or Network+, or Security+ certification.Must be able to obtain a NACLC clearance.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and 7 to 10 years of related experience, including 1 to 3 years of supervisory/management experience.Desired Qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with Agile software development desired.Certified Scrum Master certification desired.Experience with SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM desired.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face.
