The Logistician (Operational Lead) will facilitate the execution of operational Standardization Actions, communicate project statuses to the Services and obtain their input and product and operational specific requirements. This position will be responsible for extracting Services assemblage information from MedPDB and Service assemblage listings, compiling product lists and requirements, obtaining Services input, preparing standardization related documents, updating the Clinically Derived Standardized Products (CDSP) list and submitting and tracking DMLIIS actions as required. This individual will facilitate the monthly Operational Standardization meeting and coordinate Service representation and provide data support and expertise for Services̢۪ assemblage reviews. This position will also be responsible for posting announcements to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) and will assist in management of the EDMS LiveLink collaboration tool and document repository for all MMESO related documents. In addition, the Logistician (Operational Lead) will provide process improvement and project recommendations, and identify, propose, and prioritize opportunities which will provide the optimal value to operational standardization efforts.Required Qualifications:A Bachelor̢۪s degree in logistics, business, management or related field is required. This position requires a minimum of five years̢۪ experience in medical logistics and supply cataloguing systems including Medical Product Data Bank (MedPDB), Joint Medical Asset Repository (JMAR), Defense Medical Logistics Standards System (DMLSS), Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), Defense Medical Logistics Item Identification System (DMLIIS) and Medical Master Catalog (MMC). Experience is also required in data collection analysis, and documentation preparation.
