Sales Manager, Northeast Midwesco Filter Resources (MFR) is a market leading company that designs and manufactures high quality, high value air filtration products. Key markets served include power generation, metals, minerals processing as well as general industrial air filtration applications. We are looking for a skilled sales professional to manage our Northeast territory. Job Description: The position is primarily responsible for meeting annual sales, margin and market share growth objectives. Key activities would include calling on end user customers to present the companys product and service offerings, troubleshooting customer filtration systems, analyzing current and future market trends, and working closely with factory and support personnel.Responsibilities:Analyze sales data, market trends and opportunities; produce ad hoc reports for senior management. Take a leadership role in business development and customer relationship efforts as the senior sales closer for the Northeast Territory.Meeting annual budgeted sales, margin and growth objectives: Analyze and develop annual sales and margin plan into individual, regional and product line objectives in order to meet and exceed sales and growth targets. Prepare and manage sales expense budget for travel, trade shows, marketing, etc. Provide direct input and oversight of bids within assigned territory.Manage measure and mentor inside sales team: Act as a mentor to inside sales team on selling process, upselling and value selling in order to better meet the needs of our customers and clients. Analyze customer requirements in terms of product design and price to offer the best possible sales and service solutions. Develop, lead and motivate the inside sales team. Conduct annual performance reviews that include individualized developmental improvement plans. Measures of Success:Meet and exceed annual sales, margin and growth budgets. Developing, retaining, and manage a high performing sales staff.Lead the development of new marketing and call campaigns.Provide key strategic input on market trends, competitive actions, industry changes, price trends. Required Education and/or Experience: Qualified candidates will possess a bachelors degree and have a minimum of 5 years territory selling experience, preferably with a technical product/service in our key market sectors, and a demonstrated track record of success. Desirable personal characteristics would include: technically oriented, hands-on' professional with strong communication skills, a sales hunter mentality and a willingness to travel approximately 65% of the time. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point is also required. Must have valid Drivers License. Filtration industry experience preferred but not required. Must be lawfully allowed to work in the United States. E/O/E
