KTL Solutions is looking for an ERP Software Engineer to join our Washington DC/Baltimore office. In your role as an ERP Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in assisting our implementation team in providing our clients with leading financial and business applications based on current Microsoft technologies, particularly Microsoft Dynamics-GP. This can be a work-from-home position for the right person.
The ERP Software Engineer position will involve:
Developing ERP solutions using such tools as Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SQL Reporting Services, BI/360, Dashboards, SQL Server technologies and Advanced Office development
Performing ongoing support services to existing clients via email/phone support and on-site visits
Developing and continually refining ERP implementation standards and tools/documents
Utilizing ERP implementation standards and tools/documents
Participating in the quality assurance process as required by each project

Job Responsibilities
As an ERP Software Engineer, you will interact with clients at a variety of levels offering solutions to business requirements using current technologies. You will perform on-site consulting services for implementation projects in the areas of requirements gathering, business process review, application and workflow design, project management, configuration and testing, end-user training and ongoing support services. Although much of your work as an ERP Software Engineer will be with Microsoft Dynamics technologies, you will also be encouraged to expand your knowledge to other ERP platforms.
Your specific duties as an ERP Software Engineer will include:
Working with clients to obtain information about their business strategies, processes, desired outcomes and critical success factors and evaluating appropriate ERP solutions
Presenting tailored demonstrations of proposed solutions
Developing statement-of-work and scope documents
Performing mentoring and/or coaching to team members and sharing knowledge amongst them
Communicating with our technical services team to ensure that each project s technical requirements are met

Requirements
As an ERP Software Engineer, you must have a desire to learn, to be challenged and to expand your capabilities. You must also have strong project and organizational skills. It will also be vital for your role as an ERP Software Engineer that you have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to function well as part of a team.
Specific qualifications for the ERP Software Engineer position include:
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance and/or computer science or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in accounting and/or working with ERP solutions
Experience performing requirement interviews and analyzing current business procedures
One year experience with Dynamics-GP considered a plus but not required
Certifications a plus but not required
