The Software organization partners with Systems engineering and other disciplines to provide affordable, cost-effective software solutions to IIS programs and initiatives. They will provide SW architecture and database design, SW development and sustainment through traditional or agile methods, and SW integration and test (SWIT), including continuous integration techniques. Job Description: Performs the activities involved with the requirements gathering, design, development, documenting, interfacing, integration, testing, maintenance, and modification of complex software applications. Required Skills: 4+ years of software development experience with Java Java applications deployed to Java Enterprise application/servlet containers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, etc.) Javascript based web application experience JDBC communication with relational databases (Oracle preferred) Development, inspection, and manipulation of XML documents conforming to XSD Web Service (RESTful or SOAP) interface definition and implementation Java development IDE (IntelliJ (preferred), Eclipse, Netbeans, etc.) Source control tools associated with defect/issue tools (source control: GIT (preferred), Mercurial, Clearcase. defect trackers: JIRA (preferred), Clearquest) Linux based server application deployment Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance required .
